  5. Happy Birthday Jane Austen! When I was in college she was the first author I read in a class and I fell in love! Jane Austen is the reason that I switched my degree to Literature and the reason that I love English Literature :)

  7. Happy Birthday, Jane. I'm not sure what I'd read if I didn't have all of your works and subsequent fan fiction to entertain me. Would I have to spend my time dusting and polishing?

  10. A day late - I spent most of yesterday in reading a book online which is very long. But did note the birthday. Happy 240th to Jane. Never heard of these books before reading of them on Meredith's blog, also. Merry Christmas to all.
