there are so many of us that are eternally grateful that you were born on this day over 200 years ago. It is also 200 years this year that Emma was published! 

With lots to celebrate, Harper Collins Christian Publishers are offering two of their Jane Austen e-book titles for $0.99 today! 


"A Jane Austen Devotional" and "The Christian Encounters Series: Jane Austen."

    Happy Birthday Jane Austen! When I was in college she was the first author I read in a class and I fell in love! Jane Austen is the reason that I switched my degree to Literature and the reason that I love English Literature :)

    A day late - I spent most of yesterday in reading a book online which is very long. But did note the birthday. Happy 240th to Jane. Never heard of these books before reading of them on Meredith's blog, also. Merry Christmas to all.

    I celebrated Jane's birthday by watching Pride & Prejudice, again :D Simply can't get enough of it and with a slice of gingercake it was an absolute treat !
